ET-903/ET-903WS SET UP GUIDE
To Turn On/Off:
Transmitter: Insert or remove probe, unit will automatically power on or off
Receiver: Press and hold the MODE/Power button for 3 seconds
To use in Thermometer Mode:
- Turn on the Receiver Unit
- Insert the probe into the Transmitter unit and power on
- A type of meat (such as "BEEF") should appear in the top field of the Receiver. If you see numbers here instead, press the MODE/Power button on the top left of the Receiver unit to switch to Thermometer mode
- Press the MEAT button on the top right of the Receiver to cycle through the different types of meat
- Press Taste to cycle through the different preset temperatures for the type of meat selected (see table below)
- If you want to adjust the preset temperature, use the HR and MIN buttons to raise or lower the set temperature
Once you have the Set temperature you desire, set-up is complete.

To use in Timer Mode
- Turn on thermometer using steps 1-2 above
- Press Mode/Power button to switch to timer mode
- "0:00" should appear where [MEAT] was
- Use HR/MIN buttons to add hours/minutes to the timer
- Press Start to start timer
The unit can be used simultaneously as a Thermometer and timer, to do this set it up in Thermometer mode, and once you have your desired temperature set as the Temp Set, switch to Timer mode using the steps above.
